If they distrust us so much, how comes thousands of them come across the border each year to spend the winter in Arizona, Texas and Florida? They all seem to wish that they could leave Canada, but their retirement and health care would be suspended. So they are tied to the country..they trust?

IIRC back before Stephen Harper was elected, thay had a poll larger than this one, to show he was losing.

Even if snowbirding Canadians were forced to live in New Orleans, Downtown Houston, or Memphis, they would remain liberal socialists. Like all liberals, they start with a chip on their collective shoulders (not being American in their case), and then seek compensatory moral superiority through an ostensibly charible political philosophy.
