I thought that too, but the closest I’ve heard from the inside of her campaign, was when she read the DailyKos poll, showing her as trailing badly in third place, she made up her mind to drop out.

I heard Hoffman being interviewed on Sean Hannity's radio program. He sounds laid back and mature.

We could use some of that.

Jim, if you look at all the changes you’ve brought about for this country - you’ll see that you’ve been a one man Tea Party. Sometimes we forget to say “thanks”... so, Thanks... it’s meant a lot - we’ll all try to keep freedom alive.

The GOP has been basically neutered in NY. Most GOP candidates sound just like Democrates and independents, one in the same. Same ideas, same ideals, same corrupt mentality, same sh## diffferent day. This is a line drawn in the sand for both the GOP and the rats in control. We can now feel the power we have to inflict pain in every state in the union.

Now conservatives have to turn out for primary season in the Republican Party. If you are conservative, get active in your county party (RINOs, stay home . . . please). Because if conservatives do not get active in the local party RINOs will win nomination by default.

If we get conservatives nominated in Republican primaries during the spring of 2010, we will have a good November. Otherwise we will see the conservative vote split and the Democrats will continue to hold power.

What happened in the past is unimportant at this point in time compared to what will happen in the future. No matter how unhappy you have been with the Republicans before, make an effort to see conservatives get nominated in the primaries.

Get active in your local Republican party. Encourage conservatives to run — preferably as Republicans. A conservative Republican candidate will be a liberal Democrat in November, but a conservative 3rd party candidate will split votes with a moderate Republican to let the liberal Democrat win. So the job through next spring is to get conservatives — not RINOs or squishes — nominated on the Republican ballot.

Sorry I missed your post. We are ready to party here in VA. I went to a GOP pep rally this morning in Northern VAQ. McDonnell, Bolling, Cuccinelli, and the other candidates were all there along with George Allen and Haley Barbour. The internal polls look good all across the board for the statewide offices and we could add five or more seats to our majority in the House of Delegates. It is all a matter of turnout now.

The new American Revolution starts on Tuesday. I have spent more money this year in contributions, including to Hoffman, than I have in a long, long time. I fear for my country's future.

THESE are the times that try men's souls. The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of their country; but he that stands by it now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman. Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered; yet we have this consolation with us, that the harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. What we obtain too cheap, we esteem too lightly: it is dearness only that gives every thing its value.

I was at a Tea Party this morning when they announced that Scuzzi Fuzzi dropped out. Everybody whupped it up. Even in WA state they knew the significance of this.
