At a time when our health Care System is going through an enormously expensive upheavel the last thing we can afford is an open gate policy on people with need of expensive and long term care. Our elderly will be denied care so HIV infected immigrants legal or otherwise can take their place at the head of the line
We have plenty of AIDS cases in the country, and don’t need anymore.
Since you have no problem letting diseased people into the country, would you at least not have a problem with quarantining every single AIDS case in the US to stop it’s spread.
No, it’s just one more thing to add to the national deficit and place even more burdens on understaffed health care facilities.

I am sick of paying for the behavior of a person who does knowingly dangerous actions, and then wants very expensive treatments to be paid for by everyone else.

The illnesses associated with the condition are the killers and these can quite easily be transferred to healthy individuals by means of non-intimate contact.

Jimmy Carter could have made the US AIDs free just by quarantining the FOUR known AIDs carriers (they were well known and on the cover of TIME magazine) but he did not.

I knew a homosexual man from PA who complained of the distance he had to drive to go to work at an airport in NJ. I asked him why he didn’t transfer to Philadelphia. He replied that the disability benefits were much better in NJ. Go figure what he meant.
