Assuming that it is correct that he was from Visalia, Visalia is about 45 miles S/E of Fresno, in Tulare County. Orange Cove is in the S/E area of Fresno County, close to the Tulare County Border, but Orange Cove is still closer to Visalia than Fresno, and is easily accessible via Hwy 63.
