They haven't listened since the days of Lincoln; and they aren't about to start listening now.
They will only listen when their contributions drop to ZERO, and every RINO candidate they put forward or support is defeated, either by a more conservative candidate in the primaries, or by a more conservative candidate in the general. And when their even more desperate appeals for money amount to ZERO.
They do not mind being the minority party. They don't care if Democrats have 100% of all electoral positions. So long as they can keep collecting donations to resist the eeeeeevil Democrats, they can stay in business, and keep living high on the hog.
The enemies of their fund-raising scams are conservatives, not Democrats. They will funnel money to Democrats under the table, if necessary, to keep conservatives from having a voice in our government.

I'd be interested in seeing what percentage of donations to the RNC are private (i.e., non-corporate). Could be, they figure they don't need our money. As long as people reflexively vote R or D, it doesn't matter because the game goes on.
