In sports the coach often gets a public vote of confidence shortly before resigning even as the owner/GM are working to arrainge the resignation. If the GOP is smart, they will be promising support for her as they work behind the scenes to get her to withdraw.

If the Polls are as I read late last week, withdrawing might be her most face saving option. Only time will tell.

You guys don't get it. There was a well defined process for picking the republican nominee and Dede won that process fair and square. To abandon her is to abandon the process.

Second, the GOP tries to run a full slate of candidates everywhere, even for offices in districts where Jesus Christ would not get more than 10% of the vote.

This is what we republicans do. We will stand by the Republican nominee. If you don't like it, you need to win the nominating process.

Furthermore, as long as conservatives only run in "winnable" districts, you will never run the republican party as the moderates are running everywhere and are the backbone.

For you conservatives to try to relegate the moderates to only losing districts just breeds contempt ror you. You are not paying your dues and you are not running a national party.

If you guys want control, you need to run everywhere, even where Jesus or Mother Teresa would only get 10% as a republican.
