A new study examines the costs of education, health care and incarceration of illegal aliens, and concludes the costs to Californians is $10.5 BILLION per year. The state's already struggling K-12 education system spends approximately $7.7 billion a year to school the children of illegal aliens. Another $1.4 billion of taxpayer's money goes toward providing health care to illegal aliens. The same amount is spent incarcerating illegal alien criminals. Back in 1994 California voters rebelled and overwhelmingly passed Proposition 187, which sought to limit liability for mass illegal immigration. Since then state and local governments have blatantly IGNORED the wishes of the voters and continued to shell out public benefits on illegal aliens. Predictably, the costs of illegal immigration have grown geometrically, while the state has spiraled into a fiscal crisis that's brought it near bankruptcy.

These are the words in a highly acclaimed book about the impact of illegal aliens on California: "As tax consumers continue to flood in from Mexico, and taxpayers flee, the state is sinking in a sea of red ink. Fed up with rising crime rates and rising taxes to subsidize illegal aliens, citizens are leaving. California is going home to Mexico. Who can deny it? With 150,000 whites leaving California each year and 43% of all Californians under 18 Hispanic, Califonia is becoming - indeed, has become - a Third World state." Welcome to Mexifornia! Seems that war we waged against Mexico in 1846-48 under President Polk was a defeat and not a victory after all!

Another reason we need to vote OUT RINOS, and vote in conservatives.

Why blame Mexico? Californians did this to themselves.

Mexico merely provided the gun that CA shot itself with.

The only solution of course is deportation which no matter how much it costs is cheaper than having them here in perpetuity.
Sadly, there is barely a testicle to be found amongst our politicians when it comes to the hard choices.

I’ve been saying this for . . . at least the past fifteen years.

Build the doggone fence. Send them back to Mexico. Swift execution for illegal alien murderers with DNA evidence.

I think CA has over 6 million K-12 students. A look at the school demographics and performance is a snapshot of our future. Hard to see how this tide can be reversed.

Numbers are way too conservative.

Stop in any emergency room in Southern California at anytime on anyday and you will know why.

Don’t forget the huge pensions the state of Ca. has to payout. Plus the Unions suck it dry along with the liberals who milk the system further with their complicit, overspending DemRat legislatures. Didn’t the state waste a billion or more funding embryonic stem cell research?

In San Francisco, you can go to ANY paint store, Home Depot, etc. and you will easily see 20 Mexican men standing around 50 meters away, calling out to passing cars, and anyone who looks like a foreman.

It is IMPOSSIBLE for civvies not looking for them to miss them, to say nothing of how simple it would be for LEO’s to pick them up.

If there is no political will, how much do capabilities matter...?

The Reconquistas have been slobbering over California for hundreds of years. Time for a little payback: give California to Mexico as a "gift".

And Texas did what?

500,000 illegal aliens march on Dallas Texas 2006, making demands and threat while pushing foreign flags into the Texan's faces..

Downtown Dallas, Texas.

America liberated the Southwest from Mexico.

What happened over the last 30 years was a total abdication by all in power of their duty to defend our border.

Yes, there are very few testicles in Congress. The Congresscritters want these 17-30 million to vote for them - the RATS are counting on the illegal aliens once given AMNESTY to keep the RAT party in power for another 40 years.
