Bob leads by 14 points and we’re now waiting for the made-up and inevitable “macaca” moment from the Wash Compost.
There will be no “Macaca” moment this time. Virginians got stuck with Jim Webb because the easily influenced flock fell for the WAPO’s red herring. It will not happen again. BTW Jim, your turn is coming in 2012. I hope you enjoyed your one term in office.
Obama/Mussolini...Fair compairison ...Mussolini while a dictator had to answer to a junta composed of colonels heading the Fascista Party. After it became clear Italy was losing the war Benito was deposed and replaced by King Victor Emmanuale II. Mussolini was evenutally captured and hung with his girlfriend upside down on a street light pole by “partisans” who were probably communists inspired no doubt by Russia for Italy’s sizeable contribution and losses on the “Eastern front” which few realize happened.
The Fascist name and symbol comes from the fasces, a mace symbolizing the authority of the Roman Republic Senate consisting of ebony sticks bound to an axe handle and carried into a legislative chamber prior to a session..Even ours (not sure if they still do this) ! and was on the back of old US dimes...
