The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 30% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as President. Forty percent (40%) Strongly Disapprove giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -10 (see trends).

Thirty-eight percent (38%) of voters say deficit reduction is the top priority for Washington to obtain while 23% say health care is most important. Among Democrats, health care is most important. Among Republicans and unaffiliated voters, health care is fourth on the priority list.

Check out our review of last week’s key polls to see “What They Told Us.”

The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern (sign up for free daily e-mail update). Updates also available on Twitter and Facebook.

Overall, 47% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President's performance. Fifty-one percent (51%) disapprove.

Tracking poll data shows that just 56% of conservatives consider themselves Republicans. Separate polling shows that 73% of GOP voters say Congressional Republicans have lost touch with the party's base.

With a compliant media, he should be over 60%. Let's not forget with an uninspiring GOP candidate who ran a weak campaign, with every thing going for him, he received only 52% of the vote last November.

Obama and his Marxist Muslin Party do not care about polls or what people think. They are in power and while they have the hammer, regardless of what anyone wants or desires, HE is going to socialize every bit of this country under government control that they can do, legal or illegal. They are going to put in a communist form of government by the government, for the government and to HELL WITH THE PEOPLE'S WISHES!!! This is what we got. This is what the republicans bent over backwards and gave us thought their stupidity. I have been for a long time now, a man without a party, a man without a leader, a man without anyone too look too that will bring back my America, as founded, under GOD! Nope, we are now the Soviet Socialists Muslims of the UN. That is our new title. Thanks to all pinheads and blacks for giving away the country. You are just soooooo special.

All true. And don't forget he had the magic of "The First Black President" going for him, too.

That's a one-time thing that won't come into play in any future election.

The largest negative number I remember was minus 12 but minus 14 is a possibility. It goes up and down. I can’t see any way for The One to get back to positive territory though. Too incompetent and too marxist.

Yes, and he was at -13 for two days in a row this week. He has been in double digits for about a week now.

That is an interesting thing to note. Of course the GOP will disregard it...but at their peril.

ya know, I just went back and looked at an election night 2008 map. What freakin’ despair.

Washington DC, of course a Hussein cultist’s dream community, always votes for the ‘rat. But for Hussein, it was lunacy: 92%.

Hawaii went for their “son” at 72%.

The highest percentage McQueeg got was in Oklahoma at 66%.

Most of the so-called “bellwether” states won by Hussein were big. Pennsylvania...I don’t ever see it going Republican. Virginia was damn depressing, though I know it may reject Deeds.

Minnesota, Wisconsin, were ALL SUPPOSED TO BE IN PLAY because McQueeg was a “moderate”. He got wiped out in those states.

Hell, Hussein even got one electoral vote from NEBRASKA!

Made me sick to my stomach, seeing how many people were willing to invest their vote in such an unproven leftist kook. Sad, really—very, very sad. And angry.
