William W. Taylor, a lawyer representing him, said in a statement Wednesday that Mr. Welch had decided to move back to Massachusetts for family reasons. Translation: reputation-damaging revelations coming.

Mr. Taylor - President Obama is on line one.
President Obama “Nice work foot soldier. You should be proud of the work you did. You help move the senate one step closer to a democratic super-majority. You will be taken care of in the future. If I have one bit of advice for you though - watch out for busses.”
Mr. Taylor “Thank you Mr. President. It is my honor to serve you in any capacity. To include breaking the law.”
President Obama “Thank you. Long Live Me”

Stevens had to go.
I don't really care how it happened or who facilitated it

What was done to Ted Stevens was awful. Just think about that SCUMBAG(Did he say SCUMBAG? Yes I did!!!) Charlie Rangel. He is still amember of the House. He is as corrupt as the day is long.

Mr. Welchs departure, effective at the end of this month, is the latest step in an overhaul of the public integrity section...Just imagine what kind of damage Eric Holder must be doing by "overhauling" the public integrity section...

While the ultimate result in the Stevens case has been highly disappointing professionally and personally, the statement said, Mr. Welchs own decisions in the case comported with his own and the departments highest ethical standards. ... The ultimate result is that this partisan hack masquerading as a lawyer oversaw the theft of an election.
