Consistency is a virtue, not a “hobgoblin.” Unless you’re a nihilist or other kind of mystic.
Well, this is a big point of what I can recall during early education - when a young student pointed out inconsistencies in the instructors logic, this was always trotted out, and ended the discussion. At least when we were twelve or whatever, lol. I agree - a consistent worldview is pretty much a requirement.
