Club for Growth and Club for Growth PAC will launch a $300,000 television ad campaign tomorrow in the special election for New York's 23rd Congressional District. The campaign follows the Club for Growth PAC's Sept. 28 endorsement of Doug Hoffman, a Republican running on the Conservative ticket, over liberal Republican Dede Scozzafava and Democrat Bill Owens.

In direct opposition to the GOP. I love it.
Good.
I understand the NRCC not supporting him as, from a business perspective, he is competing, however, they could have at least not endorsed the liberal RINO.
It seems if there is any case for a third party vote, this is it.
Hmmm, now where did I hear that phrase "Common Sense Conservatism" before? A speech in Hong Kong by our 2012 candidate?
I sent his campaign $50.00 a couple of days ago. The NRCC deserves to suck gas on this ome.
GOP wants to try and win a race without conservative support. The question becomes, how does the district lean?
Ping
Being in a hopeless situation in Mass I have ‘adopted’ Hoffman and Rubio and have been donating to them regularly. It’s my way of exerting some influence, little as it may be. I’d encourage all who are in similar electoral traps to do the same. If all Freepers sent Hoffman a ten-spot, he’d have a prety solid war chest and Scozzafava and the NRCC could go pound sand.
Well hush my fush!
Most of all I want Hoffman to win; however, I’d settle for the NRCC receiving a painful, but essential, message by losing.
Considering the national attention and endorsements the Conservative candidate is receiving, it looks like the RINO will be learning to say "would you like fries with that?"
Donation come payday! This is great.
I also just posted, Dick Armey has endorsed Hoffman as well.
Please, send Hoffman a donation. I wish we would get behind him as strongly as we got behind Joe Wilson last month.
Markos Moulitsas, founder of The Daily Kos has endorsed Scozzafava. Dede Scozzafava has also been endorsed by NYSUT, the largest labor union in New York, and an affiliate of the National Education Association.
Scozzafava also holds these positions:
Scozzafava has also run in past elections on the Working Families Party (a progressive party associated with ACORN) line on the ballot.
This lady isn’t a RINO, she is a big “R” libeRal democRat.
There are also 17 RINOs in the house who have donated funds to this LibeRal democRat's campaign. They include Boehner and Cantor. I don’t have a full list, but I will be looking for it. These RINOs should be targeted for elimination in the primaries next year.

Saw your post. Good stuff!
Conservatism is the winning side, even if it loses the elections.
We must not allow RINOs to rule the day.
Fred Thompson has endorsed as well - Jerri (sp) was on Cavuto and announced they were fighting against the RINO.
Sounds like the lefties are trying to make only one party and the GOP is dumb enough to go along with it.
This particular district, the 23rd congressional district in New York is fairly conservative.

In 2008, John McHugh carried the district with 65% of the vote. He has a 71.55% lifetime rating from the American Conservative Union
The Republican in this race has 15% rating from the New York Conservative party, which is more liberal than 46 Democrats in the New York State House.
Doug Hoffman is much closer to John McHugh on the issues than any of the other candidates in this race.
Oh, one other interesting bit. In 2008, when McHugh won the district with 65% of the vote, McCain lost this district. Perhaps this district doesn’t like RINOs.

Yes, Fred convinced me to contribute.
Dear FredPAC Supporter,
I’m endorsing Doug Hoffman, and I think it’s important that conservatives in New York - and across America - support him. Here’s why:
Doug is a conservative, who understands that our freedom is our greatest strength, that life is a precious gift, and that getting back to our founding principles will ensure our nation’s security and prosperity for us and for our children and grandchildren.
If ever there was an opportunity to send a message to Washington, to the Obama Administration, and to the politicians who have made careers of ignoring the will of the people they represent, Running as the Conservative Party candidate in New York’s 23rd Congressional District, Doug Hoffman is giving us a great opportunity to do just that. It’s time we sent a man to Capitol Hill who is truly independent, who will fight for limited government, economic liberty and respect for the rule of law.

I’ve spent a lot of time over the last three years traveling America listening to our fellow citizens’ concerns. Over the past eight months we’ve seen those concerns voiced loud and clear: about how our current leadership is frittering away our nation’s security from global threats, about the trillions in debt Washington is weighing down on America’s next generations, about Washington’s attempts to regulate our way of life with so many czars you’d think we actually lost the Cold War.
You’ve seen what’s happening around the country. Conservatives are standing up and making it clear that our fight today isn’t bound by parties. It’s about saving our country and getting back to the
foundational principles of liberty, free markets and the rule of law. Even if you don’t live in Upstate New York, we all have a stake in Doug’s campaign if you believe those conservatives principles are worth
fighting for.
