What, exactly, was the crime committed?
It seems to me that they seriously manipulated the media. Is that a shock? The failure was on the part of the media to investigate and manitain objectivity. They chose not to. The ostammer campaign knew the media was willing to suspend disbelief and professional journalism practices and took full advantage of it. That is not a crime.
Remember all the times that the exalted White House Press Corps asked President Bush to discuss/admit his mistakes?
Well, these same exalted folks should ask themselves how they like being outed as conspirators with the Obama campaign.
