If you are unwilling to part with the NFL, here is a suggestion:
Part with just the game on Sunday night.
Why that specific game? Because it is shown by NBC, who still has not apologized or retracted statements about the Soros-generated ‘slavery’ quote, plus has Keithy Olberdork on the pregame and halftime show.
NBC is already in financial trouble, help put a nail in its coffin and tank their Sunday night ratings, and actually go do something with your family on Sunday night.
This why I am glad hockey season has started.
I didn’t know anything about hockey, but I went to Canada and worked for 6 years in a row, (work 30 days, come for 30 days), and really enjoyed it.
Something new for an old West Texas boy.
Yea, like I really care what the Village Voice has to say. According to them Ronald Reagan gave their readers AIDS. This is a really in-touch newspaper. I have to wonder though, how many VV readers actually watch football?
So I guess none of you enjoy the NFL.
I own season tickets...so....nope. I will not boycott the NFL.
boycotts are stupid and accomplish nothing. work to get the goons out in 2010 and 2012.
This was orchestrated by a Obamaton Players association scumbag and Goodell caved. Then Checketts caved.
This was a victory for the stalinists in the whitehouse.
DEFEAT THEM.
this has nothing to do with the NFL.
This is the first year I don't follow the NFL since a boy. Obama's taxes chased away most conservative owners away.
Goodall has been a joke.
Even though he followed Rush in getting rid of the bad behavior as Rush suggested.
It was the repeating images of striking multimillionaire pro athletes that finally did it for me.
"$30 million a year just isn't FAIR!"
*GAG* Forget the lot of ya.
I won’t give up my football, do you think Rush is going to quit watching? We heard from a couple of stupid players and the libs in charge of the union, 1 team owner(the colts) and the commissioner, hardly the whole nfl. You don’tknow who would have supported Rush had they spoken up. I won’t look at the commissioner the same and I hope the colts lose every game, but I’m not going to quit watching because of this.
If you can quit watching football over something that doesn’t involve you directly, especially when the person involved directly isn’t going to quit watching, then you probably weren’t a huge fan anyway.
If this happened in nascar would you quit watching that?
Me too
Boycotting the NFL will be easy for me. College football no way!
Its real simple folks - the next time bammie wants face time at an NFL game, boo him. The message will be sent to one and all, players, owners, players unionistas, advertisers, ad naseum. Just boo bammie. Do it once and he won’t come back for more.
The left has declared themselves the arbiters of everything. YOU conservatives cannot buy a business if they get their way. Are we going to let THEM literally run our lives??
How is that for leftwing hubris?? Leftwing McCarthyism.
I knew our boy Irsay Jr. here in Indianapolis was a Baraqqi from living here and watching him funnel our extorted tax dollars to Democrats via campaign contributions.
And Rooney from the Steelers was one too, and got an ambassadorship out of it.
What surprised me was that no NFL owners would speak out on the other side.
I already told my wife that we’re not buying any NFL licensed products this year. No jersey’s for Christmas...of course being a Redskins fan I wouldn’t be buying much anyway. The NFL didn’t only tell Rush to kiss off...they told all of us.
Ah, the Village Voice...that bastion of free speech and individual liberty. True worshipers of the American dream.
I haven’t watched NASCAR in years. Its kind of boring to watch the cars go round and round and round.
Sorry, but Im an addict and must have my football fix several times a week!
I hope college football is in your rapporteur of options.
Now that’s a plan. When I heard Irsay who owns the Colts and who I support, because I live in Indiana I decided to not watch the Colts and it’s not a problem to stop watching NFL. I love College Ball anyway.
Good points, I agree.
Also, as much as I like Rush it’s hard to feel sorry for
a guy with a boatload of money and a far reaching very popular pulpit.
I’ll continue to enjoy my NFL.
We finally get some professionals in here, some decent people whom it's easy to root for, and now this...
And watching the game on Sunday with it's silly pandering to Mexicans, "futbol Americano."
I gave up baseball, which was much more ingrained in my life. Won't really miss football much, except to realize how much of my life has been made unpleasant by liberals.
