But the difference is that conservatives have not brought pressures upon NBC or anyone else to force Keith Olbermann off the air for those games. Whereas in the case of Rush, liberal forces were brought to bear which resulted in Rush being declared unfit to own an NFL team.

I think we all know that liberals will complain about conservatives, and vice versa. But in the Rush case, we see the liberals using their power to force him away from the NFL. Have conservatives ever used such force to get rid of a liberal from a prominent position? Maybe they have but I sure can’t think of anything like this happening to a liberal.

The closest effective Conservative boycott or threatened boycott was when CBS was going to show the vicious anti-Reagan “bio” pic.

Libs are the first to scream “McCarthyism!” at the drop of a hat, but here we have a case of a man who has been blacklisted from an industry because of his politics. IF this isnt what McCarthyism is supposed to mean, I don’t know what is. And make no mistake, this is nothing like the Dixie Chicks, who can still make crappy records even though their fans wont buy them anymore, Rush is actually banned from owning a piece of an NFL franchise).
