The stands will be full as usual. We are so outnumbered. Wonder how many of our enlightened citizenry even have a clue what has been going on the last few days?

The league is close to 80% black in a country that is at best 13% black (and that’s if include every mulatto they can muster); I’d think they might be more concerned about the flip side. When you start seeing American football highlights on the Spanish-language news, they’re truly groping. I live in an area that has basically been overrun by South & Central Americans, and they could care less about anything other than soccer. Even the ones who’ve been here for years...

I don’t know how Rush can remain an NFL fan after this.

I think you are safe supporting the Packers, you own them, right?

F the NFL

I will no longer watch or attend the games. Any product advertised (like beer) will drive me to the competition.

Call

OR....Everyone could go the the televised NFL games wearing hats and shirts supporting Rush. Signs would be great too if they are allowed. As a group, go to local bars where the games are being televised with the same attire. Get creative.

Best sports event I ever watched: a Women’s World Cup match between Denmark & Sweden years ago. Like watching 2 teams of Barbie dolls play; hoped it would go to OT, but no such luck. They were feminine, too, unlike the American women with their man-thighs...

It’s ironic that I could care less about the NFL this year. It is extremely BORING compared to the college game.

The closest effective Conservative boycott or threatened boycott was when CBS was going to show the vicious anti-Reagan “bio” pic.

I love the NFL and I believe it is important that Olberman must go. This is easy and will cause this travesty to continue to be covered. Olberman should not be announcing if Rush should not be owning. They’ve drawn the line. Will we fight?

The following week, you would see a bunch of organized union thugs at the games wearing their own anti Rush shirts.

They can take their League and S-ove It!

But if the people who claim to worry about such things want to see a truly angry right develop in this country, they should continue to remain silent while the left tries to drive Rush Limbaugh and others out of American political life. If that happens, the NFL by comparison will look like an afternoon tea.

Dude, I am so there.

I wish I watched NFL or had some subscription to cancel becuase I’d do it in a heartbeat. Alas, I already don’t care one fig about the NFL or their games and never watch.

I do enjoy college football.

I was a heart-broken 14 year old...although I didn’t live in Baltimore, my Dad had become a Colt fan when watching the 58 Championship game:

“In overtime, New York received the opening kickoff (which was fumbled but recovered by the Giants) but were forced to punt. On their ensuing drive, Baltimore drove 80 yards in 13 plays (all called by QB Johnny Unitas) on a tired NY defense, and scored on Ameche’s 1-yard touchdown run to win the game, 23-17. This drive is known as one of if not the best drives in NFL history.”

Imho, the “organized union thugs” can’t afford to attend NFL games. They go to the skank bars.

Are you confusing moral standards with academic standards? I don't doubt that there are a lot of college players who don't necessarily meet the academic requirements to play, but I don't consider that a moral issue, at least not with the players, maybe with the college faculty however.

Regardless, I just enjoy college ball more than pro ball. Always have. Football is not a question of morality for me, it's entertainment, simple as that.

An excellent excerpt.

>> “to ostracize him from polite society.”

It should be absolutely clear to everyone that the Left fully intends to choke off free speech on the Right.
