That question has too much logic in it.. Maybe she wasn't shopping, was just ‘there’ with someone else? Weird! The lottery winner wrote a check. I suppose her name and addie are on the check. I wonder what the consequences of that will be. (Harassment by shoppers?)

I am continually stunned by the naivette of people who refuse to undestand that, “if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.” There are so many gullible idiots in this nation. Obama is the proof. None but gullible idiots were taken in by his promise of having won the political lottery, being all things to all people.

These idiot shoppers looking for a free ride are a microcosm of the nation as a whole. We are doomed. We sincerely are. Not because our system is doomed or because we have been infiltrated by insidious enemies, but because most of our averge people are no longer informed or moral or follow the golden rule, believe in responsibility and doing your part.

We are doomed because we turned the corner on the electorate and the average US citizen being greedy, selfish and apathetic. That is why we are doomed. Now is just a rear-guard action to slow the decay. Another Obama or two and we will no longer need a rear-guard action because all will be lost. This evil punk has 3 more years still to bribe and coerce politicians and the public to his communist agenda. I am not at all certain he can be stopped.

I just feel sorry for the poor clerks in the store. No matter if this is a stunt, some random lunatic, or the real deal, they're the ones who need to pick up after these fools.

I had a long talk with my Mother-in-Law about this type-thing last night. She's a Dem (albeit a conservative, Southern Dem) and she started out the discussion with "I hate to sound racist, but....."

I cut her off right there. Told her that racism had nothing to do with it. The differences are *cultural*, not a simple matter of skin color.

In this particular instance, the culture of people who trashed this store has a "Gimme Mine, and if I don't get it, to heck with you" attitude. The arrogance on display here, along with the entitlement mentality, is astonishing to me.

In this particular case, the main players (mostly) appear to be black. I'd be just as offended by their behavior if they were white, or some other color. But, it just won't do for someone to point out the simple facts that a) Most of the people in the store were black. and b) That they wrecked it when they couldn't get what they wanted.

When the divide is one of culture, AND people are forced to turn a blind eye to behavior that in most of society would be completely unacceptable, rather than immediately addressing it and saying "Clean up your D#@$@ed act" .......I'm not sure that this is a gap that will ever be closed.

I've seen similar during sales in upscale outfitter stores, which were not frequented by the clientele seen in this instance. They'd drag tons of stuff into the changing rooms, and if they didn't like it just drop it on the floor. The clothes were 2 feet deep.
