Store managers told 10TV News that she paid for roughly $5,000 in merchandise with a debit card before her card's limit was reached. When shoppers learned the merchandise would not be paid for, some customers trashed the store.

Makes you wonder whether she was a conservative trying to make a very timely point to a few legislators in Washington....

We have a substantial number of families in our country where there has been no resident father or two or three generations and no child in the family has ever known a relative with a job. Absolutely every need of these families is provided for by government programs who have become, in effect, the father in the family. Food, rent, medical care, etc., all provided by a variety of federal, state and local government.

It’s hard to imagine any child growing up in that climate coming away with any attitude in life other than one of entitlement.

We were making some headway in reversing this at one point, however, slowly but surely the system is turning back the gains made by welfare reform.

I have had contact with some of offspring of these families and they have been taught from birth that none of the ills that have befallen them are their fault. And in some cases that the fault lies with the white man.

Unless you are exposed to the people in this group it is impossible to grasp just how ingrained their sense of entitlement is and the resentment they have for those they’ve been told since birth are responsible for their problems.

I just read the article and looked at the pics.

Is it politically incorrect of me to notice that there's not a whole lot of Scandinavians there?

Also, that the "desperate" people lining up, are all able to afford the cell phones that they're talking on?
