Why are we calling these people Celebs...they are reporters...this is why we are in the mess we are...they are so puffed up! They are simply reporters...no more!
I agree that calling reporters celebs is a bit of a reach. But Cronkite, Rather, Jennings and the rest of the limosine faux journalists reveled in their celebrity. Hell, lefties adore celebrity, acting (pretending) and disfunction above all else.
