CA is whacked. No way could I live in that progressive state. Just order it online, have it shipped to another state and pick it up there.
I would not be suprised to see someone offering that very service before long. That would make it possible to
pick up your purchase in NV, OR, AZ (or any other convenient place).
I was watching the movie Seems Like Old Times with Goldie Hawn and Chevy Chase featuring Charles Grodin last night...got it from Blockbuster Online....anyway...during one part of the film Robert Guillame from Soap tells Grodin that he needs to be careful about the information on Chase’s character because California is a “Conservative” sate” and he needs to be careful with how he proceedes!!!!! I haven’t watched the movie in 20+ years...classic movie...but that line made me laugh the most I think.
Gov Wimponator got elected as a tough, non-”girly man” conservative.
Then he folded and became the Dem’s eager butt boy.
Sorry we voted for him. We mistakenly thought the silver screen tuogh guy was tough in person, ala Reagan.
He has been governing to the left of Grey Davis, the Dem he ousted for being to leftist.
