This has been my worry for quite a while. Will we start seeing an increase in crime as desperate people, used to getting welfare checks, no longer receive them?

The welfare checks are still flowing, it’s the unemployment checks that stop.

It won’t be the people used to getting welfare, it will be the people UN-used to getting it that will be desperate.

Welfare people will receive money even if you don't eat. You (an ex-taxpayer), may wind up having to ask them for food money for yourself.

What will be tragic is the demise of desperate people driven to threaten those who have been stockpiling ammo for months anticipating desperate times...
