I would seriously doubt if both Time and Newsweek will be in business in a year of two. I don't think I know a single person who reads either publication.

Both magazines are ideological publications. They exist not to report and bring news analysis but rather to push a certain political agenda. And they will continue to push that agenda until the day the sheriff comes and padlocks the doors. They would rather go out of business than make the changes to become decent publications.
