Obama Risks a Domestic Military Intervention

There is a remote, although gaining, possibility Americas military will intervene as a last resort to resolve the Obama problem. Dont dismiss it as unrealistic.
America isnt the Third World. If a military coup does occur here it will be civilized. That it has never happened doesnt mean it wont. Describing what may be afoot is not to advocate it. So, view the following through military eyes:
# Officers swear to support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic. Unlike enlisted personnel, they do not swear to obey the orders of the president of the United States.
# Top military officers can see the Constitution they are sworn to defend being trampled as American institutions and enterprises are nationalized.
# They can see that Americans are increasingly alarmed that this nation, under President Barack Obama, may not even be recognizable as America by the 2012 election, in which he will surely seek continuation in office.
# They can see that the economy ravaged by deficits, taxes, unemployment, and impending inflation is financially reliant on foreign lender governments.
# They can see this president waging undeclared war on the intelligence community, without whose rigorous and independent functions the armed services are rendered blind in an ever-more hostile world overseas and at home.
# They can see the dismantling of defenses against missiles targeted at this nation by avowed enemies, even as Americas troop strength is allowed to sag.
# They can see the horror of major warfare erupting simultaneously in two, and possibly three, far-flung theaters before America can react in time.
# They can see the nations safety and their own military establishments and honor placed in jeopardy as never before.
So, if you are one of those observant military professionals, what do you do?
Wait until this president bungles into losing the war in Afghanistan, and Pakistans arsenal of nuclear bombs falls into the hands of militant Islam?
Wait until Israel is forced to launch air strikes on Irans nuclear-bomb plants, and the Middle East explodes, destabilizing or subjugating the Free World?
What happens if the generals Obama sent to win the Afghan war are told by this president (who now says, Im not interested in victory) that they will be denied troops they must have to win? Do they follow orders they cannot carry out, consistent with their oath of duty? Do they resign en masse?
Or do they soldier on, hoping the 2010 congressional elections will reverse the situation? Do they dare gamble the national survival on such political whims?
Anyone who imagines that those thoughts are not weighing heavily on the intellect and conscience of Americas military leadership is lost in a fools fog.
Will the day come when patriotic general and flag officers sit down with the president, or with those who control him, and work out the national equivalent of a family intervention, with some form of limited, shared responsibility?
Imagine a bloodless coup to restore and defend the Constitution through an interim administration that would do the serious business of governing and defending the nation. Skilled, military-trained, nation-builders would replace accountability-challenged, radical-left commissars. Having bonded with his twin teleprompters, the president would be detailed for ceremonial speech-making.
Military intervention is what Obamas exponentially accelerating agenda for fundamental change toward a Marxist state is inviting upon America. A coup is not an ideal option, but Obamas radical ideal is not acceptable or reversible.
Unthinkable? Then think up an alternative, non-violent solution to the Obama problem. Just dont shrug and say, We can always worry about that later.
In the 2008 election, that was the wistful, self-indulgent, indifferent reliance on abnegation of personal responsibility that has sunk the nation into this morass.

It reminds me of Johnson's Presidency.
Johnson, loyal to the United States was technically anti communist, but it didn't do him much good as he was a Democrat machine politician and had an ego about the same size as Zer0's.
He was absolutely determined that a socialist Democrat machine would run the United States, not a Russian Marxist Bolshevik machine.
He neglected to think through that the results would be about the same.
So anti commie Johnson got busy fighting the commies and was sure that his brilliant micro management of the war and military was the only way to win.
The US military went on ahead to win in spite of Johnson and the devastating losses of personnel that his micro management cost. The results were that the new extreme leftist DemoRats (note the "R") hated him for the win and the country hated him for the casualties.
Johnson didn't even try to run again, he knew what the result would be.
It took the Rat Congress to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory by defunding the South Vietnamese and starving them to defeat.
Now we have Zer0 in Johnson's position except Zer0 IS a Marxist with the same Marxist DemoRat Congress.
The only thing we will see from the US Military is a valiant attempt to win against America's enemies, and failing that, resignations.
Gee thanks!
Now my hands are shaking I’m so mad!
You do yourself proud by pointing out that fact though...
No coup. Mass retirements, yes.
The Alinsky model is the model our President uses.
Outlining his strategy in organizing Alinksy wrote:
Theres another reason for working inside the system. Dostoevski said that taking a new step is what people fear most. Any revolutionary change must be preceded by a passive, affirmative, non-challenging attitude toward change among the mass of our people. They must feel so frustrated, so defeated, so lost, so futureless in the prevailing system that they are willing to let go of the past and change the future. This acceptance is the reformation essential to any revolution. To bring on this reformation requires that the organizer work inside the system, among not only the middle class but the 40 per cent of American families - more than seventy million people - whose income range from $5,000 to $10,000 a year [in 1971]. They cannot be dismissed by labeling them blue collar or hard hat. They will not continue to be relatively passive and slightly challenging. If we fail to communicate with them, if we dont encourage them to form alliances with us, they will move to the right. Maybe they will anyway, but lets not let it happen by default
William Ayers: Prairie Fire
Page 40 of the manuscript is typical: It outlines the Weather Undergrounds strategies for overthrowing the United States. Among the many strategies are: eliminating the feeling of patriotism among the general public, destroying the government from within, and starting a mass insurrection among the lower classes.
Our job is to tap the discontent seething in many sectors of the population, to find allies everywhere people are hungry or angry, to mobilize poor and working people against imperialism. Our final goal is the destruction of imperialism, the seizure of power, and the creation of socialism. Our strategy for this stage of the struggle is to organize the oppressed people of the imperial nation itself to join with the colonies in the attack on imperialism. This process of attacking and weakening imperialism involves the defeat of all kinds of national chauvinism and arrogance; this is a precondition to our fight for socialism.

There can be little mistake that the United States of America, in throwback scenes to the Roman Empire, IS being attacked from within.
What a crock o crap
I would welcome it. I trust most of our military officers far more than I trust anyone in DC and that includes the Republicans. I am coming to the conclusion, that everyone there has lost their minds.
The comments? I didn’t find them any different than they usually are. Typical moonbats screaming “CALL THE SS”. They say that a million times a day. They think if you say I wish O would take a long walk off a short pier that means the SS should be called. They are deranged. A constant source of enjoyment to me. I love to watch them panic at nothing and I do mean NOTHING.
Hey! Watch it, fella. I resemble that!
If modern America's Man on Horseback is out there, Get on the damn horse already!
The scenarios of the way this could play out are endless.
There is an unmistakable trend in left-wing rhetoric in the direction of communism and an overthrow of the Constitution.
Do the math.
Both Benen’s and Perry’s articles are ridiculous. There will be no military coup. Conservative Republicans will not support a military coup, and I doubt there is one brewing among the nation’s military officers. Obama will run for election in 2012...and most likely get beaten.
The ‘coup’ was in November ‘09.
If the military does anything, it will be the restoration of the republic.
hmmmmm.......
a sign of conservative contingents gone stark raving mad.
When they ignore,”...the free exercise thereof...”.
When they ignore, “...shall not be infringed.”.
Their time is up.
Ignore, “ I’m mad as hell and am not going to
take it any more.” at their peril.
Restore the Constitution!
