Obama Nation Billboard Draws Attention

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. -- Drivers on Interstate 70 can barely see the billboard but once they do the message has been gaining attention.

The billboard is located along I-70 between the Adams Dairy Parkway and the Grain Valley exits. The billboard reads, "How do you like your change now? Obama Nation. They are coming for you! The Taxpayer. First and Second Amendments are in jeopardy. Live free or Die." There is also a hammer and sickle on the sign.

People said they might not agree with the sentiment of the sign, but they felt it was a matter of free speech. Others that KCTV5 talked to said it is offensive and should come down.

A pastor who drives by the sign during his daily commute to his church said he lived in England for years and he agreed with the message.

"We lived in a socialist society and I guess what I am seeing in America is that we are pushing to some of those ways now," he said.

Love the sign - because it’s accurate.

Funny how protesting was patriotic under Bush but is now offensive.

Hope the story goes national. No use letting the message be confined to those who drive that route. LOL

Super Idea - wonder what it costs - perhaps more would be in order

Rhetoric is a poor substitute for action, and we have trusted only to rhetoric. If we are really to be a great nation, we must not merely talk; we must act big. - Theodore Roosevelt

The message is good, but the color scheme is horrible. You can't read it until you are right on it.

Red on yellow background would be much more readable.

Great sign. The commies in America hate being called what they are. They don’t even want to be called liberals (they’ve lost on that too many times); no, they want to be called “progressives”. What a crock!

So, this morning, the new tack shows up on the Dylan Ratigan show (MSNBC = Mushbrains Spouting Nothing But Communism): he has said “Corporate Communism” at least 4 times per minute. He has also invoked the term “unpatriotic” in assailing the lack of support of Ozero.

Amazing — this is exactly what pravda, tass, izvestia, and novosty used to do in the USSR! Accuse the opponent of the trait that is most true of you.

I am amazed. Did the MSNBC people have a staff meeting over the weekend after they were butt-hurt by our celebration of Ozero’s failure on the Olympics?

And another page turns. This is so contrived. Anybody else out there watching this drivel?

And leftists hate the sign, because it’s the truth.

It's a Commie flag color scheme. Quite appropriate.

I’m not so sure. I had an “Impeach Clinton” sticker on my car for years—starting a year before he was impeached. But I’m not so sure about anti-Obama stickers. You are asking to get your car keyed by leftist mobsters, I’m afraid.

Billboards might be better.
