(CBS) The former U.S. commander in Afghanistan, General Anthony Zinni, warned that the deliberations over whether to send additional troops to Afghanistan - as many as 40,000, as suggested by General Stanley McChrystal - should not go on too much longer, lest the debate be viewed as indecision or weakness.
On CBS' "Face the Nation" Sunday, Zinni said it was positive to have a strategic debate and to take all opinions into account. "But I think we have to be careful how long this goes on," he told CBS News chief Washington correspondent Bob Schieffer. "It could be seen not only out there in the region but our allies, even [by] the enemy, as being indecisive, unable to make a decision."
He questioned why the White House is questioning the advice of their commander in Afghanistan, General McChrystal who made the request for additional troops.

Obama is indecisive and weak.

Yeah, but the first step to changing that view in the world is acting decisively and correctly on Afghanistan now.

Obama has no choice but to swiftly make a decision, at this point. The cat’s already out of the bag, as they say, and the whole world is watching to see how he handles this.
Do it wrong, and he imperils not only our brave troops in the field, but our allies on the ground in the region, and even America itself.
I have little faith that Zero is going to make the right choice. Liberal ideologues like him always do the wrong thing at the wrong time, in these life and death situations.
This us going to be hard for the left to digest after raising Zinni to near god status.

I think the waffling is politics — pure and simple. He needs his left wing for health care and he’s hesitant to piss them off.

Obama has every intention of creating Vietnam II in Afghanistan. He is well on his way to accomplishing it. Whats more, nothing can stop him either. Well nothing that's legal, IMHO.
Obama is no views. He stated views are nothing but means put forward by his advisors to achieve a goal.
On the few occasions he does speak his mind it is a disaster e.g. ‘Stupidly’. Then there are his absurd Health Care Speech. No sane person can say that.

Obama has a team who share his goals of destroying America and rebuilding it in the image of a Socialist Utopia. Every move he makes is calculated and advised. He has a set of "campaign" advisors to achieve his goals. He has been on a continuous campaign both before and after the election. He announces calls to action, he unilaterally decides who the chairmen of mega corporations will be. He has the union thugs ready to do his bidding. Its a well worn path my FRiend, and we are too far down it to end the trajectory easily.
America is awakening, but its still in shock. And America does not YET know who Obama really is. Look at what he and Odinga accomplished in Kenya 2006/2007. That was a dry run for what America can expect. Civil unrest, violence , and possibly genocide in parts of America. Obama won't stop until he achieves that and invokes martial law in America.His goads are working around the clock to achieve it, one calculated step at a time. Some of them are right here on FR, every chance they get. That is the measure of their resolve.

Why would he want to do that? He doesn't want the kind of military we have. He has apologized for our military's historic, heroic action over and over again while abroad.
And like his forbearer in Germany, he wanted his very own Munich in Chicago,so he could fill his election coffers for 2012 through pay to play.Now he must wring his money from elsewhere. Watch it happen. Watch for the next gravy train.

He hasn't a clue how to carry out his agenda. He has no real knowledge in his brain. Only phrases and dogma. A memorizer not an analyzer.

There is nothing puppy about Obama.The Afghan decision delay is for a specific purpose, establishing a war of attrition in Afghanistan. He has pretty much achieved that.
