De Gaulle never had issues? Except for the little episode in 1966, when he removed French troops from the NATO command and expelled American NATO troops from France — just 20 years after we saved their gallic butts. And the whole “Europe for the Europeans thang, which was, in effect, an offer of detente to the Soviets in the middle of the Cold War.

When you get to liking the French, remind yourself they are furious that Roman Polanski is under arrest for fleeing the US after being convicted of nailing a 13-year-old (in a most painfiul way) 32 years ago. We’re too prudish here.

"Forced to scrap that bit, the French President let his frustration show with undiplomatic gusto in his formal remarks, laying into what he called the “dream” of disarmament.”

"French president Nicolas Sarkozy was less than impressed with Barack Obama’s performance last week.."

Obamacare was his Waterloo. He's off to Elba...

In the next year, Due to Obamas WEAKNESS, look for at least one or more of the following to occur:

China moves on Taiwan and absorbs it

North Korea fights South korea

China annexes the Spratleys

Iran attacks Isreal

Venezuela invades a neighbor (prolly Colombia)

Russia takes oner former sattelites (Georgia)

Obama whines but does nothing

No, the point I was trying to make is: that was de Gaulle; this is Sarko.

Would that be the same nation that is outraged that a child rapist would be held to account? Yeah, like I care what they think...

Someone let me know when France pulls it’s head out.

"never seemed to have any issues with playing nicely"

Meant in the sense of never feeling restraint in bucking US doctrine.

Perhaps it is time for the euros to view the writing on the wall and start building a more robust NATO on their own dime, since it is quite clear that the US cannot be counted on to defend Europe from the resurgent Russians or kooks like Amanutjob.

Because obama is weak. Guys like Putin are professionals. They know what they're doing and do it to promote the interests of their countries. Chumps like obama are no match for them. This is no time for us to have a fake president.

Remember Sarko’s recent quote about Obammy?

“Est-il faible?”

Most seemed to think that means,” Is he weak?” But there’s a more apt translation for “faible.’ Weak-minded, slow-witted, DUMB! That’s what Sarko meant, I’m sure. How many pics have we seen of those two, with 0 in front, and Sarko laughing at him in the background?

If you saw Greta tonight you missed a great interview between Greta and Jack Kelly from the Pittsburgh Gazette.

Kelly's contact in the France's external intelligence agency thinks, as does Sarkozy, that Obama is incredibly naive and grossly egotistical and is very worried about the negative impact Obama’s stupidity on the Free world. An amazing interview. The interview starts 32 mins. into the show.
