I missed something.
I thought Thomas makes it very plain that these groups are a danger, a fifth column as we called it in WWII.
Oh, I agree that Thomas is accurate in his description of the ‘fifth column’... (Yes, I’m old enough to know the meaning of the phrase)
What he misses (and to be fair, just about every other commentator is missing) is the indications that, in the past two weeks, the ‘fifth column’ has shifted into a new, more active, and much more dangerous, phase...
Had the attacks in Dallas and Springfield succeeded, in conjunction with the Muslim Gathering, there was the distinct possibility of sparking open religious war in this nation....
We’ve moved into a much scarier phase, here....
