Ho-hum . . . Blue Sky, round two . . .
It amazes me that so many people do not know about the Civilian Marksmanship Program.

I have been involved actively with CMP for 7 years now. It is a great program and may be one of the greatest secrets around without trying to keep it secret.
Typical though .. people would rather run their mouth and be clueless to what is available to them, then intiating action and taking some spare time to be involve in a very worthwhile org. All three of our daughters have and hold memberships .. all three of them “shoot” better than their dad.
I don’t care what anybody says, natural 20/20 vision is ten times better in the shooting world than “corrected” to 20/20. My competiton scores have decreased with age ... mostly due to eyesight. No I am not a geezer .. I still hit my limit in pheasants, duck, and dove each day I am out. My deer stamp is always filled,(bow only) Competiton target shooting is a different world that DEMANDS perfection.
It was a joy to teach my daughters to shoot, and watch each of them develop a love for the sport. It was even better when we all became involved with CMP.
Advantages beyond the firearm aspect of CMP, comes respect, leadership and desire to be the best one can be.
