Glenn Beck, DiscoverTheNetworks, and exposing the left
David Horowitz's NewsReal Blog ^ | September 25, 2009 | John Perazzo

In recent weeks, Glenn Beck has elevated political/news television to an entirely new level. Without fealty to any particular party, he is shining a light into the dark corners of a political cesspool that has been hidden for too long. He is taking the esoteric and making it accessible; taking the complex and making it simple. The result: Millions of Americans are waking up and beginning to understand, often for the first time, exactly what the left is all about. At the David Horowitz Freedom Center, we’re honored that one of the most vital resources from which Beck draws information that is presented on his program is our online encyclopedia of the left at www.DiscoverTheNetworks.org. It was our hope that by putting the networks, funders and covert agendas of the left up on the Web, we would awaken Americans to the internal threat to their freedoms from the legions of what is misnamed the “progressive” left. (In fact they are reactionaries and closet totalitarians who want to re-run the discredited socialist scripts of the past.) Since we launched DiscoverTheNetworks in February 2005, more than 20 million people have visited the site. But Glenn Beck is reaching over half that number of Americans every single day.

He is taking the esoteric and making it accessible; taking the complex and making it simple.

And doing a very good job of it. He also uses the tecnique of repetiton effectively.

This is good news. The Tea Party protests are proof that the conservative genie is out of the bottle.

The internet is to the Left what sunlight is to a vampire.

Think about it: Ronald Reagan and the conservative movement rose up against liberalism following four years of that flailing dunderhead Jimmah Carter. But the Anointed One’s impatient agenda has touched off a similar backlash within a mere eight months!

No wonder there’s talk of recapturing the House in 2010.

Thank you, Glenn. You’ve taken David Horowitz’ message and put it up in lights.

“No wonder there’s talk of recapturing the House in 2010.”

No, that’s a good probability.

Worse yet for the Dems, their leadership will be decimated in the Senate. Kennedy is gone, and Byrd is almost gone. Dodd and Reid are likely to lose their elections. So not only are they looking at a loss of seats, they are looking at a decapitation.

Horowitz says it the way I wish I could. Dang, Beck has done his job! I have very little disposable income these days, but am buying Beck’s latest book just to say thanks and to help keep him on the best sellers list so people will talk about him and the ideas he has made clear for us.

I wish he would get into the corruption of the environmental movement - the IUCN, Wildlands Project, biodiversity treaty etc. These are all vehicles upon which the integrity of private property rights and local governmental control are being utterly destroyed and wealth is being reallocated.

That would be sweet to see the repubs take over congress. But unlike in 1994 have them stand up for conservative principles and not go prone when the media writes something mean about them.
