The average enrollee costs Medicare $830 per month so the Plan gets $830 X 12 months for $9960.00. Plus, the Plan gets $91.00 of your $96.40 Medicare premium X 12 months for $1092.00.

Adding those two numbers up, your Plan provider is funded $11,052.00 per year.

The reformers say the Advantage Plan providers are being over funded for what they provide.
