So much for the spin that Robin Carnahan would crush Roy Blunt. Bambi has a 44% approval rating in Missouri, not good for Carnahan. Plus a sizeable majority of voters in the "Show Me" State despise Bambicare, again, not good for Carnahan. Go Roy!

Seniors and baby boomers are going to get so hosed by Obama. The only way to stop it is voting the Dems out. Seniors better wake up.

The rule of thumb is that any incumbent at 45% is probably in trouble, so this is pretty good news for Blount.

But there is no incumbant here. This is for Bond’s seat.

Roy Blunt is very popular in Missouri, and there are miles of video of Robin Carnahan saying glowing things about Obama at campaign rallies all over the State last year. If Bambi and his health care plan are that unpopular in Missouri then that will surely be a major drag on Carnahan. Go Roy!

I think LS meant that the Carnahan name in Missouri made Robin the clear and early front runner/favorite, a sort of incumbent.

Blunt’s name is the same. Roy’s son Matt was our previous Governor.

After seeing what the other Dem in Missouri, Obama’s concubine Macaskill, you’d think they’d run a mile in the other direction.

If these numbers are accurate, this election is vulnerable to the massive democrat-run voter fraud that they have apparently mastered all over the US. Be vigilent Missouri Republicans!

That’s exactly how McCaskill was elected.

The Carnahan name is big in Missouri, and she has been labeled by the media as the clear front runner and favorite. I think this poll is great news for Blunt, it completely takes the wind out of Robin’s sail, and worst of all for her will be the attacks from the Blunt campaign on her past glowing comments and support for Bambi in 2008.

yup indeed, if the big name can’t get off to a roaring start, she may as well give up now.

The Carnahan clan are the dumbest, most corrupt people one could imagine, Robin being the dumbest and most corrupt of all (excepting maybe her brother Russ), therefore it is inevitable that she will be elected Senator.

Russ got smacked at an early town hall meeting. It appeared from the video that we was too stupid to know he was getting smacked.

We, in Missouri, voted for SARAH and that other guy in the last election! We barely went RED, but nevertheless we did!

Obama is not liked at all, here in southwest Missouri. I think the thing that tipped Missouri red was the gun issue. Many Missourians are proud gun owners and will NOT tolerate having their gun rights abolished.

That being said, I’m confident that we’ll elect a Republican Senator next year. I’m not the biggest fan of Blunt, but I’d rather have him than Robin Carnahan (Though I’d much rather see Chuck Purgason get in there!).

And please, dear lord, can we get rid of Claire McCaskill in 2012?
