The statment regarding us being endowed by our Creator with unalienable rights, including life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is actually in the Declaration of Independence, not the Constitution.

But in the 5th and 14th amendment to the Constitution the specific language is included that no citizen would be deprived of life, liberty, or property without due process of law.
