WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama says requiring people to get health insurance and fining them if they don't would not amount to a backhanded tax increase. "I absolutely reject that notion," the president said.

in 0's world, when the government extracts money from citizens to finance the supply of services provided/controlled by government, that's not a tax.

If that’s the headline coming out of his Sunday show appearances than he’s failed miserably.

If they think it isn’t a tax..then just the young people in Masshole what they think of paying over $1500 a year for health insurance when they can hardly find a job. Even with that “tax” on the young the system is running in the red.

It won’t be a tax until there are no more private insurance carriers and ALL OF US ARE ON THE TAXPAYER FUNDED, GOVERNMENT CONTROLLED, SINGLE PAYER SYSTEM. Then it will be a tax...
BullPuckey! It’s anti-Constitutional. The government has NO business in the healthcare business, at any level, to any degree, at any time.
It’s time to put government back within the confines of the Constitution.
