This is the best high level panoramic pictue I've seen of the 9/12 Tea Party. It was shot from high up in the Capitol dome during the demonstation.

A surprising thing about the demonstration is one or more helecopters flew over the gathering, probably taking pictures, and then apparently disappeared into oblivion, with none of the pictures taken from any of them being published. Hence, this is the best overall high level picture of the demonstration I've seen. The helecopter I saw flew over at about 12:45 p.m., had a white bottom and blue sides, was at an altitude of 500 to 1,000 feet, and was not positioned so I could see any markings. Obviously those choppers were either charteed or owned by very powerful people because getting a prmit to fly any GA aircraft in the WH-Capitol corridor is nearly impossible for someone who isn't either a high ranking politician or media type. My own guess is the helecopter I saw was probably chartered by some DemonRats, or the administration itself, who wanted clear pictues of the crowd and acurate estimates of its size. Then, having discovered how large a crowd we were, they were horrified and suppressed the pictures.

I think you have to file under the freedom of information act - like Fox News did to get the AF One “fly by” pictures - otherwise they don’t release them. Perhaps they are going to use them as future photos claiming Obama’s adoring crowds - they’d have to photo shop out all of the signs though, little tiny mustache wouldn’t be too hard

The helicopter may have been hussein's because I read somewhere than on his return from Minnesota, his helicopter flew over the crowd.

They’ll just change the colors so that all those yellow Gadsden flags look like purple SEIU health care flags.

I was there. Look for me on the right - I was holding an American flag. See me?
Seriously, I WAS there - took about 180 fellow Staten Islanders down on 3 chartered buses. It was a tremendous event.
How many people IS that?

“Then, having discovered how large a crowd we were, they were horrified and suppressed the pictures”.
...that pretty much sums it up. I was there and loved every second. Didn’t want it to end. People that were there and went home to tell others of the crowds know how many were there. 9/12 was the beginning of a new invigorating energy that is rippling through America! I don’t believe that anyone who attended 9/12 (me included) will stop there and go about business as usual! We’re just simply waiting for the next one as we make calls and e-mails to congress and senate.

Believe it or not that one and the Decoy did fly over the March More around 10 oclock when the Obozo went to Wisconsin for his Union Rally so he could have Plausible deniability about the size of the crowd

Awesome picture. This is one that needs to go viral. That's why I posted it, even at this rather late date. Even if links have been posted to it before, it's the best of the very large bunch, there being no available areial photographs, and needs to go viral.

The F.A.A. would have not allowed planes in the vicinity.
Do not think many privates have been allowed in the area since 9-11. And you know they had a stranglehold on even news copters on 9-12.
Nothing to see here, just a few hundred “extremists”. MOve along.

I recall on one of the many threads about THE 9/12 MARCH that Marine One flew over the event.

The top ones are USAF UH-1N helos from Andrews AFB used to haul military VIPs around (see reference
here
Not sure about that last one. HMX-1, which hauls the President around, has VH-3 Sea Kings, VH-60 Blackhawks (both identified by white tops over green fuselages) and variants of the CH-46 and Ch-53 (idenfied by all-over gloss green fuselages). The Park Service has UH-1s as well, they're lighter blue (than the USAF ones) and white. I'm not sure how that last one could either be a news or a chartered copter: DC's airspace is seriously locked down and I don't think such overflights (especially over Federal buildings like the White House or Capitol) are permitted.
To: libstripper
I emailed the pic to oreilly@foxnews.com with the subject line saying “count the attendees for yourself - get an accurate assessment.”
Maybe if others did the same thing - suggesting that if BOR can get so heavily into “body language” he should also be able to get experts to estimate crowd size - he’ll get the message that we aren’t going to let his “75,000” claim stand.
