What Putin thinks of Obama
I don’t know if it’s legit or not. I don;t speak the language, but I suspect it is...
Putin would never say in public what he REALLY thinks about Obama
Did you watch the Video?
I emjoyed that
it’s a joke.
Well, actually there was nothing about Obama in that video. But if you do not speak Russian, it was cute.
“its a joke”
Could be... It’s funny enough
Yes I did
It was still a joke
Putin will never say what he thinks about the big “O”
In case anyone is interested, here are a few snippets of what Putin was actually saying:
The beginning was most likely regarding some question about Russia planting its flag on the arctic ocean floor:
“Americans at some point put their flag on the moon..and what? Anyway the moon didn’t become a part of America. What concerns our research (our researchers) are directed to prove the Russian Federation has a right to do this, but we do this in the framework of international procedures and the United Nations. We don’t do anything in a certain order and we don’t do this with the help of force. Why do we have to be nervous? We have to do this in the framework of the United Nations because there exists certain procedures and structures. Yes we defend our interests, we collect these proofs of our rights on the (continental) shelf, and we are going to continue these actions in the future”
“What concerns Gasprom...it gnaws at Europe and they talk about this in the Washington Post? Maybe this is because they don’t want to separate from gasprom because they like it. What concerns teeth that gnaw, Exxon Mobil gnaws at our economy and the result is nothing because their dentists don’t do anything but sharpen these teeth. BP seems to grow due to the Russian Federation and our resources but we are not afraid of this. We continue widening the cooperation...yes we want that our interests are taken into consideration too but here in the non-energy sector all the worlds largest companies work. European, American”
“But we used here the Norwegians, and the French and the American companies are also working and successfull with millions in investments and the work goes very good.”
“I have the possibility to take direct part in achieving these aims. We just have to be thankful and work”
My wife says Putin is the most difficult Russian to translate because he uses so many idioms and off the wall comparisons.
