Muslims in Colorado Uneasy Over Terror Inquiry
New York Times ^ | September 19, 2009 | DAN FROSCH

AURORA, Colo. — Djilali Kacem tugged at his beard and surveyed the warehouse of Islamic books he helps oversee near Denver International Airport. “The government should know better by now,” said Mr. Kacem, an imam at a local mosque. “It has been eight years since Sept. 11 and our government still overacts sometimes when it comes to Muslims.”

As an investigation into a possible terrorist plot against New York City focused increasingly last week on a local Afghani shuttle bus driver, some Muslims in and around this Denver suburb have grown uneasy, saying they are concerned that law-enforcement officials are going too far because the case involves a Muslim...

The man the authorities say is at the center of the investigation, Najibullah Zazi, 24,... had begun cooperating with the authorities after three days of questioning by F.B.I. agents. He reportedly admitted that he may have perhaps unwittingly crossed paths in Pakistan with extremists allied with Al Qaeda. And, the officials said, that based on Mr. Zazi’s statements to the agents, there are now some indications that he underwent training in explosives and bomb-making while overseas... ... word of the inquiry has spread throughout the more than 10,000 Muslims who have settled in Aurora and parts of Denver. “Colorado has always been seen as a good place to raise a family,” Mr. Noorzai said.

Mr. Noorzai, the former president of the organization, said many local Muslims were trying to figure out whether anyone knew Mr. Zazi, and whether he did anything wrong.

“If this guy is innocent, then our community is going to feel like we are being singled out,” he said....

Once again, the poor Muslims are victimized. What are they doing with a warehouse full of "Islamic" books at the Denver airport? There is that much demand? Why are these people in our country?

Oh here we go, the pathetic Muslim victim card. Go move somewhere else, if you don’t like the rules here.

"...our government still overacts sometimes when it comes to Muslims."

Face it, buddy. Outside of stupid guilt-obsessed liberal dhimmi-wannabe's, nobody else trusts you. Maybe if you towel-turds would do something about the radical elements in your society, we could let our guard down.

But no, you sick bastards get off on violence and abusive subjugation of women who offend you with their cooties.

Notice the prominence of the Times placement of how the government “overreacts.”

And how it absolutely flies into the face of reality. When this country is hit, and based on the former CIA leadership, morale is now at an all time low making it inevitable, these same people will piously tell us what to do, think and act.

Passively of course.

"Colorado has always been seen as a good place to raise a family set up terrorist cells,” Mr. Noorzai said.

Fixed.

That’s what I was thinking. Apparently they have all their literature for the terrorist cells in that warehouse near the airport. Good grief. Mr. Noorzai, Colorado is a good place to live no thanks to you and your ilk. You screwed up your own country so bad you had to leave, and now your’re here trying to screw up ours.

Every heard of ‘dawah’? Dawah is the silent infiltration of Islam into the Western world and particularly America. This is what has encouraged and allowed Muslims to penetrate Homeland Security posts and even White House positions. This is silent jihad and a part of Islam’s agenda.... even in Colorado.

You mean out west, in Colorado, instead of back east, in New York?

It has been eight years since Sept. 11...

Right, eight years and two wars later. The Islamists have indeed been driven back into their caves but that does not mean they have given up. Islam has been attacking Western Civilization for 1400 years, I don't think 8 years of relative peace(thank you George Bush) means the Jihad is over.

(crickets chirping).... uh!?!? still waiting

“Overreacting” has kept our country safe, raghead.

If this guy is guilty, the Muslim community will still claim to feel singled out.

Always, we’re told of this mythical “backlash” that never comes.

“If this guy is innocent, then our community is going to feel like we are being singled out,” he said....

ASSume the guy is innocent. Don't even consider for one moment that he might be guilty. If “YOU PEOPLE” would police your own and turn in suspicious or possible radicals maybe you might get some credibility. Until then ALL Muslims are suspect in my eyes. Either you are a “GOOD” muslim who wants to convert or kill all infidels and take over the world OR you are a BAD muslim considered by the “good” muslims no better than the rest of us infidels. Look it up, it's in you so-called holy books.

There is no over acting or over reacting when it comes to muslims.
They are here to change us into the Grand Caliphate.
If they don’t like the way society treats them they are free to go back to a different society.
