We won the Cold War, but the Obama Administration is throwing away the victory. This is not surprising for a man mentored and befriended by numerous Communists and subversive leftists like Frank Marshall Davis and Bill Ayers. Clinton had leftist tendencies, but they were ameliorated by his political realism, which facilitated his survival in Arkansas politics and in post-1994 Washington. The closest comparison to Obama is not Clinton, Carter, or other Democrats going back to Franklin Roosevelt, but Hugo Chavez, Daniel Ortega, Salvador Allende, or the Popular Front in 1930s France.
