The abortion bill to which you refer was Orwellianly entitled “An act concerning compassionate care for victims of sexual assault” and required licensed health care facilities (including Catholic hospitals, which were not exempted)

That's one way of putting it. However, the fact is that Catholic Hospitals were the ONLY health care facilities that weren't giving out abortion pills, and the bill was specifically authored to target them. It's really inconceivable that anybody who voted to attack Catholic hospitals for opposing abortion could claim -- with a straight face -- to be pro-life.

Caligiuri is an abortion-supporting RINO, albeit slightly more conservative than Simmons.
