Why do these elitists get monitoring devices when so many real victims of injustice are denied such accouterments?

Agreed. However, I do believe these 2 ex-judges are so SCREWED. The original judge rejected their original guilty plea that was to result in an 87 month sentence, and now, they face essentially life in prison.
