Yeah, no doubt. ACORN doesn’t exist any more, so this is just a typical political pirouette.
I’m hoping they took that into consideration - hoping they are aware that ACORN is now COI [Community Organizers International] and worded the amendment accordingly.
A sham vote! ACORN has already chaged its name. It will simply disappear into the numerous sub groups it already has and money will go to these individual groups “controlled” by the same people that now head ACORN (or whatever it calls itself today). Our tax money will go to the same people for the same causes just under a different distribution system. This vote gives cover to the Dims who voted for it with their constituencies and cover for those who voted against it for theirs.
Pelousy will see to it that any substantive language is stricken in the reconciliation with the house that follows.
Obama could NEVER let money be withheld from the organization that got him elected - just like the $10Bn to the unions to keep their health care system will not disappear from the “Health Reform” bill.
I hope Glenn Beck (with his investigative staff) is watching carefully and will keep us informed.

Very perceptive of you AC. It's all smoke and mirrors. All of them (baraq O bamah, GWB, Clinton, Cheney, Carter, etc.) sleep in the same bed. They're globalists every one of them and each will do whatever is necessary to bring about George Bush Sr.'s New World Order; which includes destroying America.
