Obama called a liar

President Obama was called a liar in the middle of his speech yesterday on healthcare. Rep. Joe Wilson was out of line, and admitted he was acting on raw emotion. How did the President and others around deal with the heckling? Glenn reminds us to always watch what the other hand is doing. The press wants you to focus on the R and D game being played after the speech. Why? Because (as you will see below) Washington is rife with corruption and they don't want you to notice. STORY

I’m not sure why we are spending so much time debating health care when liberal comedian Bill Maher seems to already have the answer:

“Let me be the first to say that I would be thrilled if America’s health-care system is anywhere near as functional as the post office.”

So all we apparently have to do to fix health care is train hospital workers to be as courteous, prompt, knowledgeable, and efficient as our postal workers?  Why didn’t someone just say so?  Of course, maybe we should consider the source.  Maher recently told Conan O’Brien that we should “forget” about the 60 vote requirement to pass a health care bill:  “You can’t get Americans to agree on anything. Sixty-percent?...(Obama) just needs to drag them to it. Like I just said, they’re stupid. Just drag them to this.”  Yep, definitely sounds like the kind of guy we should be getting ideas from.

ACORN Corruption

Glenn played the audio on radio today of the brazen, disturbing corruption at the Baltimore, Maryland ACORN office. Going undercover and posing as a couple who are a pimp and a prostitute, the helpful ACORN advisor gives them tips on tax fraud and how to keep those underage sex slaves under the radar of the government, all with a smile. Remember, this is the group that Obama said he'd call them in to help 'shape the agenda' of the next presidency of the United States. Comforting? No. Glenn plays and reacts to the audio clips.
