Crepes anyone? This place is three blocks from the Russian Embassy, and near a really neat old graveyard. Right up Wisconsin Ave from Georgetown. If you want to see an interesting landmark, check out the "Social Safeway" in the 1800 block. Meat cases are packed and stacked every day... best veggies in a supermarket, scones just out of the oven, and fresh orange juice squeezed while you wait (early). It will show you how much money plays in DC.

I subscribe to the daily deals at Groupon. Free subscription, different cities, different deals. I buy some deals and have saved and had fun.

Until midnight each day, you can buy the deal, with restrictions. Read, and save. This coupon is good any day. Wish I could be there with you but work supposedly makes you healthy, wealthy, and wise... One out of three ain't bad!

There are great pictures from the March to the Capitol linked there and sure to be pictures posted soon that were taken during the Freeper Convention events.

It sure was wonderful to meet so many Freepers and to be able to take part in this historic event! Sure can't say we American patriots were not noticed!!
