In some ways this outburst was good. I think maybe it is getting more attention today than the content (or lack thereof) in 0’s speech!

However, it would probably have been better if he had not done it. Now they will use this to raise sympathy for 0 and their cause.

Joe Wilson is my hero. Obama gave this speech to get his health care plan back on track after a summer of town hall meetings attacking the lies. Instead of the pundits talking today about the “plan”, they are talking about the lies and the unrest out there. The last thing Axelrod wanted was someone calling Obama out when Obama was calling out the Republicans.
