If Hillary doesn’t run for Governor, another blast from the past could challenge Patterson in the priamry - Eliot Spitzer.
Survey USA ran polling data on a Spitzer comeback. Spitzer would beat Patterson easily, but lose to Cuomo. In the general, Spitzer would lose to Giuliani, but win against a generic republican.
I would be shocked if Spitzer attempted a comeback by running for governor right away. Likelier that he would seek his old AG job if Cuomo ran for governor.
Yuck. I hope he stays buried.
