'You lie': McCain says Wilson 'should apologize for it immediately'

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) and Democratic leaders are calling on Rep. Joe Wilson (R-S.C.) to apologize for heckling President Obama as a liar.

Wilson shouted to the president "you lie" after Obama said illegal immigrants would not benefit from health insurance coverage from the reform bill. Obama glared disgustedly in the direction the remark came from, as did Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and Vice President Joe Biden.

House Democratic Whip James Clyburn (D-S.C.) called Wilson's outburst "embarrassing," while McCain said it was "totally disrespectful" and that there was "no place for it in that setting or any other."

McCain said Wilson "should apologize for it immediately."

As if McCain’s advice now is worth 2 cents. I respect him for his military service and POW experience. But he has put his butt in front of his mouth. Nothing to be ashamed of, but his time has passed. No compromise. Shut up and go schmooze some liberals.

Even though Congressman Joe has apologized, zero is still, technically, a liar. zero just thought he would expand the policy of “don’t ask, don’t tell”, to include those here illegally.

Obama lies on the stump to his face and McCain calls him “a good man.” McCain goes on to lose the election. Joe gags and spits up the lie Obama is feeding him and McCain demands Wilson apologize for it.

I cannot get a read on McCain other than he isn’t a Republican.

Why didn't McCain call for Obama to apologize for calling his own running mate a liar? Obama said, "It's a lie, plain and simple", when referring specifically to Sarah Palin's "death panels" FACT. It is NOT a lie, which is why the Democrats pulled that section from HR 3200 after Sarah's Facebook post.
