Obama’s Troops: Arrested St. Louis SEIU attacker demands Workman’s Comp for HIS injuries

Remember Elston McCowan? Hes one of the SEIU purple shirted thugs who were arrested for beating a Black conservative for daring to protest Obamacare outside a town hall meeting featuring Democrat Congressman Russ Carnahan.
It turns out McCowan actually had the nerve to ask for Workmans Compensation payments because he is injured and unable to work. Missouri had the good sense to tell this deadbeat to get lost, but moochers like McCowan dont discourage easily when something for nothing is at stake.
He has applied to the SEIU to pay him, thereby acknowledging he was there and committed this assault on union business.
McCowans biography reveals besides being a hired mugger for his union, hes a Baptist Minister community activist and former Green Party candidate for Mayor of St. Louis.
McCowan alleges he and another innocent SEIU community organizer were actually the victims of Kenneth Gladney who presumably smashed his face and ribs into McCowans fists hard enough to disable Reverend McCowan, rendering him unfit to earn his living.
This cinches it
That night McCowan who is the Public Service Director of SEIU Local 2000, was arrested at the scene wearing his purple SEIU shirt which is good evidence he was there on official union business.
In an intercepted E mail McCowan admitted it all: To-date my workmans comp has been denied, which means that I have to pay co-pays for my Dr.s visits as well as deductibles. Currently SEIU Local 2000 is paying for my legal fees in defending myself and any others charged with assault associated with the Union..
In the type of twisted rhetoric that would have made Stalins chest swell with pride, the SEIU has setup a Committee to Defend Victims of The Missouri TEA party!
Can there be any doubt about McCowans mission that night?

talk about nerve! This bum is sooooooo typical of the greedy union board member!

Perhaps it is time to take our protests to the people who run these unions, in addition to boycotting as many unionized companies as possible.

Not all union members are "Union Thugs". Bless this patriot for standing with the 10000+ of us at the New Lenox/Joliet Tea Party Express yesterday. I feel that there are many union members out there who are on our side.

” He has applied to the SEIU to pay him, thereby acknowledging he was there and committed this assault on union business. “
By applying for Workmen’s Comp, he also tacitly acknowledged that he was injured ‘on the job, or in the course of his duties’.... IOW, he considered this activity to be part of his job, and was possibly compensated for his attendance...
Interesting......

He should be arrested for fraud and the union charged with RICO crimes.

Just remember to spread this info far and wide and ask people if they really like the idea of a labor union controlling the health care industry.
Direct quote from SEIU bylaws.
We must organize unorganized Healthcare workers, extending to them the gains of unionism while securing control over the Healthcare industry.
SEIU bylaws pdf
Hmmmm a labor union controlling an industry that requires pure professional doctors. In fact doctors should be screaming about this unless they like the idea of working for 10 or 12 dollars an hour.

Agreed. Even here in Michigan I’m not seeing the industrial unions turning out in any great numbers. Primarily service industry unions like the SEIU. AFL-CIO is a mixed bag of service and manufacturing.

It’s time the consumers in this country decide to look for the union label, and avoid it at all costs.

Is this the guy who starts holding his shoulder when the police show up? See the video of the attack.

I copied the link, this link and sent it out in an e-mail blast. This kind of information should be printed and laid on all breakroom tables and lunch areas.
Thanks

Legally the Union should be taken to task and charged with attempting to instigate a Riot, Assault on a unarmed citizen and a few other charges thrown in.
Maybe enough to force the disbandment of this Union??????Any lawyers out there? Interesting......

arrested for beating a Black conservative
I've seen the beating victim referred to in several articles about the incident in the same manner. Does conservatism vary amongst adherents such that it now needs a racial hyphenation?

I’d love to, but the unions are mostly unionized government workers.
8% of the private sector are union
37% of Federal state and local government worker are union.
That is my fondest dream is to avoid this union’s label and avoid it at all costs.

He has applied to the SEIU to pay him, thereby acknowledging he was there and committed this assault on union business. Then the guy who was attacked needs to sue the crap out of the union because their employee caused him an injury.
