For some reason the permit information for this event has just been made available. I wonder why it took so long for them to publish this information.
Washington, D.C. - On September 25th there will be a national prayer gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U.S. Capitol Building. They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from mosques all across America. They will gather to pray from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The gathering will take place by the site where U.S. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981. The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January and his speech broadcast from Egypt in June that gave them the idea for this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.

This is one massive political statement by them.
I hope someone gets some good pictures of 50k Mohammedans in front of the White House with their rumps in the air. That would make a more significant image of this administration than just about anything else we could get.

These are the ones who were selling $500 permits for concessions on U.S. Capitol property.
They are going to be on the west front of the Capitol, not the White House. But the rumps-in-air pictures will be just as gratifying. At least they didn’t schedule it for September 11.

Remind me again why they banned school prayer? Yeah, I know the difference between "separation" and "freedom of religion."
I'd like to know the percentages of Muslim v. Christian v. Atheists there are on the hill today compared to those 10 years ago.
It would be exquisite if it were at the WH on Sept. 11. The images in conjunction with the date would be electrifying and portentious.

In both houses of Congress, every day is opened with a prayer. The courts have banned prayer from schools, but our Overlords have kept the right for themselves in their workplace.

If they were on the White House grounds and facing East to pray, they would be praying to our Capitol.
