Labour MPs, including cabinet ministers, will take a quick look at the headlines this morning and think: right, thats it.
Several simultaneous stories smash a hole in the Prime Ministers defence of his handling of the Lockerbie affair. The Sunday Telegraph reveals that the British, Scottish and Libyan governments connived to free Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi on compassionate grounds. Libya paid for medical advice that allowed the Scots to free the bomber. The Sunday Times claims that Brown personally vetoed an attempt to force Colonel Muammar Gadaffi to compensate IRA bomb victims because it might have jeopardised British oil deals with Libya.
Theres more. I could hardly believe my ears when Jack Straw said yesterday that I certainly didnt talk to the PM. There is no paper trail to suggest he was involved at all in the link between prisoner release negotations and trade relations with Libya, which Straw admits existed.

The key phrase is at the bottom:
"This isnt about Labour MPs in marginal seats who are worried about losing them. Theyre already scanning the pages of the Guardian for new career opportunities. Its about Labour MPs in safe seats who might just hang on to them if their party goes into the election with a new leader."
It does not matter if Brown remains as PM or not, he's toast. It's just a matter of how many MPs go down with him...
Remind me again why we’re not drilling over here . . .
If Gordon Brown wants to go down swinging, he could probably release a whole lot of damaging information about Obama in the process.
Why in the world aren't people like Jack Straw, "Traitor extraordinaire" To the UK, in prison instead of in Parliament?
These people have destroyed the UK, but this is also what happens when the sheeple become overwhelmingly dependent on the nanny state, and expect those they give absolute power, to not be corrupted by it.

The United States does not have any hydrocarbons. Not even within 200 miles of our shore. It’s unfortunate, but sometimes a small island nation with no natural resources must make certain concessions.
What did Barrack know and when did he know it?
Talk about blood for oil.
Oh yeah. And yes, let’s hope someone over there succumbs (during the torture of blown cigar-smoke) to leak all the WH traffic on this issue.
Um....WHAT?
Huh?
Ask the media. Ask the democrats. But I repeat myself. There is not a single drop of oil or a single lump of coal in the entire United States. Fortunately, we can rely upon the charitable kindness of countries like Venezuela, China, and George Soros to tide us over until that magical day when we all properly inflate our tires and no longer need the stuff.
I am with you.A brother of one of the victims stated this thing very well. There is no way this murderer got out of jail without the OK of the U.S.
