I guarantee that this is true.

It took MANY DAYS before the US administration peeped a word about this. There was a strong and adverse reaction by the public in UK and in the US before they acted.

They LIED about this by pretending not to know about it.

Thank you #10 Downing for confirming this.

This LYING SLIME BALL administration is bound and determined to ruin the US relationship with all that is good on this earth. It took me four times as long to get as upset at the ‘Toon’s administration as I already am with this one.

Why would this be a surprise. Everyone, except our Obama-worshipping new media, should have know immediately that Obama had been kept informed on this matter. No way would the Brits have released this murderer of hundreds of Americans without US acquiescence.

Hopefully this will really cause a big stink as Qaddafi comes to America. It is looking like the guy really wasn’t sick and they let him out as part of a deal. Obama’s hands are dirty in this.

League of Notions

Al Stewart

I'm here sitting in the wreck of Europe
With a map of Europe
Spread out in a hall of Versailles
And every single nationality and principality
have come for a piece of the pie

I'm sitting in the wreck of Europe
With a map of Europe
And the lines and the borders are gone
We've got to do this jigsaw puzzle
It's an awful muddle
But somehow we've got to go on

Lawrence of Arabia is waiting in the wings
He's got some Arab sheikhs and kings
And we're in debt to them somehow
Lawrence of Arabia has got this perfect vision
Gonna sell him down the river
There's no time for him now

I think I'm gonna take a piece of Russia
And a Piece of Germany
And give them to Poland again
I'll put together Yugoslavia and Czechoslovakia
And hope that is how they'll remain

Then I'll take a bit of Turkey
Then a lot of Turkey
This is all quite a heady affair
There's Persia and Iraq to pick up
And there's Churchill's hiccup
And we can't leave it up in the air

Woodrow Wilson waves his fourteen points around
And says "The time to act is now
Won't get this opportunity again"
Woodrow Wilson has his fourteen points
But Clemenceau turns to Lloyd George
And says "You know that
God himself had only ten"

Today I'm carried by a league of notions
(It's a league of notions)
By a league of notions
I don't think I quite understand
(I don't think I understand)
I only know from this commotion
(From this commotion)
There's a chance that we could turn
The world in the palm of our hands
(We can turn the world in the palm of our hands)

Voices in the corridors of power
Candles burning hour by hour
Still you know that to the victors go the spoils
Such a great responsibility to make it fair
And there must be some reparations now
And don't forget the oil

Today I'm carried by a league of notions
(It's a league of notions)
By a league of notions
I don't think I quite understand
(I don't think I understand)
I only know from this commotion
(From this commotion)
There's a chance that we could turn
The world in the palm of our hands
(We can turn the world in the palm of our hands)

Pax vobiscum
Wo-Oh, Pax vobiscum

--Lyrics from Al Stewart's, "League of Notions"

Ovomit is going to put the blame on Hilly. And Hilly is going to disappear again...into the Congo or only God knows where...so she can’t get any face time with the press to defend herself against his charges. Oh, well.

I would guess that the Obamas are no longer snickering to themselves about the $15 helicopter, wholesale pack of American DVD movies, and the ipod gifts to the Brits.

Not quite so funny now is it Obama? The Brits are our friends - our dearest friends. They had our back when no one else did. You can’t thumb your nose at our good friends for your own petty revenge and expect them to have your back.

Stick it to him, Brown!

Damnation.

This administration was LYING to the American People and the rest of the world by pretending that they knew nothing about this.

This angers me beyond words.

Shafting an ally like this instead of manning up and admitting that they knew all about the release and were consulted about it is absolutely DESPICABLE.

I loathe them all.

We have a “Hear No Evil, See No Evil, Speak No Evil” administration with their fingers wide open and their eyes winking, little hearing aids in their ears and laughing at the gullibility of all who actually believe them.

Zero will blame it on Bush/Cheney!

I’m with you that this is big news frothing up.

One thing troubles me for which I seek further explanation. Why would quaddafi and/or Libya care all that much about one dying murderer? What’s the value of Megrahi to Libya that evidently it’s paying money and.or oil...some kind of cost.

I know that Bush and cheney got Quaddifi to buckle under like a canoe in a hurricane after 9-11. Could this be a way for Libya to regain its former prominant position in the world?

If not...again...why this rather pathetic prisoner?

You know, I just wouldn’t put it past Obama and his thugs to alienate our allies so they don’t get involved in the coming civil war/revolution. Obama always has an ulterior motive.
