..same here, these (Stalinist) Marxist / Fascist(s) sure can dish it out...
but when they're confronted by organized opposition and/or Facts
....and laugh at them, they really "FREAK-OUT"...

But the election of President Obama in 2008 pushed FOX News into outright hate-mongering and incitement of violence, which is intolerable in a democracy.

This country is NOT a democracy.... it's a REPUBLIC.

I will have to pay more attention to the advertisers on Glenn Becks show. I will purposely go out and buy something from them for having the guts to stick it out and not pull their ads.

Selectively of course, some of the stuff advertised on TV isn’t even fit for purchase, even as a form of protest/support.

I first thought the link was to a Newspaper, but I now see it is just some kid in his parent’s basement.
My post to them has not been printed.

“not everyone on Fox News is a Conservative, hint hint, Shepard Smith/WHOREaldo Rivera”

Rivera should be investigated as an illegal alien and hopefully deported!

“In the first week, 11 advertisers cancelled their FOX ads: Campbell Soup, Chrysler, General Motors, Kellogg, Kraft Foods, Lawyers.com, Nestle, Pfizer, Proctor & Gamble, Progressive Insurance, and Walmart.”

Outside of GM I don't patronize any of them but thanks for the list of firms to never buy from!

FOX is not as liberal as the other media outlets but it is NOT conservative.

“FOX News has always been the propaganda arm of the Republican Party”

You go on to cite Beck a few times, so I might inform you that he is emphatically not a Republican, although he says he’s conservative.

“Glenn Beck agreed with guest who urged bin Laden to attack U.S. with nuclear weapons.”

Huh?

“Neil Cavuto and guest said health care reform will impose universal euthanasia like ‘Soylent Green.’”

Well, it’s a satirical comment, I’m sure, but for the record elderly people were encouraged to commit suicide, and subsequently were turned into food. It wasn’t because of healthcare costs, but rather because of food shortages, and to my knowledge they weren’t forced to kill themselves, but it’s not far off.

By the way, these people are not reporters. They’re opinionators. Who tell jokes.

“Fox News is a hate group”

Does that phrase have any meaning anymore? At all?

“it is 100% behind big business and portraying the poor American as something less”

Something less than what? Big Business? Big Business is Big. It’s right there in the name.

“only a small and frustrated aspect of the American population even watches that channel”

Which is what makes it #1 in cable news, and sometimes ahead of network news, I guess.

“Has FOX News Gone Too Far?”

From what I’ve seen of Foxes viewer ratings, It looks like they are doing something Seriously Right.

Bring the Battle to them.

Tell them to pound sand.

“This country is NOT a democracy.... it’s a REPUBLIC.”

There’s not much of a difference, really. Both denote popular sovereignty.

“Republic” literally means something like “public affairs”. Originally, it simply referred to a state, as in Plato’s “Republic.” Most commonly in recent times it means a country that is not ruled by a monarch, but rather where sovereignty lies in the whole people. A “commonwealth,” if you will. It does not necessarily mean a system whereby the people are ruled by representatives elected by some portion of themselves.

Democracy literally means “popular government,” or rule by the people. It doesn’t necessarily mean “majority rule”; democracy doesn’t have to be direct, hence the phrase “representative democracy”. Especially with its origin in ancient Athens, and our Founding Father’s aversion to that radical variety, a lot of people see it that way.

But I don’t. Neither word captures the American system fully. Both capture the notion that we are a government of the people. Both apply.

I saw the comment in question as it aired. It’s on YouTube, but I don’t want to link to it because it’s a bunch of ugly far-leftists hosting it. Basically, former CIA Michael Scheuer said something like, “The only thing that would wake this country up would be a nuclear attack by bin Laden.” And Beck says, “Yeah, and so that’s the last thing he would do because he doesn’t want us to wake up.”

“’The only thing that would wake this country up would be a nuclear attack by bin Laden.’ And Beck says, ‘Yeah, and so that’s the last thing he would do because he doesn’t want us to wake up.’”

That’s IT? I thought there’d be a little more to hang the lie on.

Here. Hate to link it, but judge for yourself:

I will say that Scheuer’s wording is very bad.

Funny.. I don't hear anyone from the left bitching about the crude and racist comments made from MSNBC regarding citizens attending the tea parties or town hall meetings w/ Congressmen/women. Also I didn't hear any complaining when they were bashing President Bush, members of his administration and his policies.
